Three Market America Facts You Should Know When Evaluating The Business

I’m sure if you’ve found this article, you’ve probably stumbled on many articles about Market America. It’s important, however, to be able to distinguish between articles that report the truth and articles that replicate lies. I found such an article today: this article made so many claims about this company that were completely false, and I couldn’t help but laugh!

After a minute though I stopped and said, what about all the people out there, like you, who are trying to learn about Market America but get false articles like this and think they’re correct? I would hate to see that happen – and I think it’s so unethical for someone to publish false articles only so they can get a higher rank on google.

I personally think it’s fair and ETHICAL to give people the truth, and to give them facts that help them decide for themselves, not lies that try to sway them away from something they might already want to do. I’m sure that’s what YOU’RE looking for, right?

You probably have done some homework, i.e. looked at the website, checked out the products, maybe you’ve seen the compensation plan – but you’re still wondering if it’s a right fit for you…and maybe you’re still just a bit skeptical.

Don’t worry – it’s fine to be skeptical! It’s actually GOOD to be that way if you’re thinking about making a big change in your life. You wouldn’t just jump into anything else without doing any research, so why do it now?

I think it’s not really that you’re skeptical, but that you’re intelligent. Great job.

There are three things you need to know about Market America in comparison to other network marketing companies. These are VERY important to understand, because it’s what separates the true facts from the false statements.

The first thing is that Market America is NOT multi-level marketing (MLM). That’s right, it is not MLM (not that there’s anything wrong with MLM). While Market America utilizes a networking concept to expand the business, there are no “levels” so it simply CAN’T be multi-level.

In an MLM business model, a distributor makes a certain amount of money from the sales generated on their first level, then makes a little less on the second level, and a little less on the third, all the way down however many levels the company says they’ll pay you for. It’s important to know that in Market America, distributors get paid the exact same amount from sales generated by every distributor in their entire organization.

Next, you need to know that Market America specializes in product brokerage. What this means is that all the products they sell are manufactured by another company, and as long as it’s in demand Market America will sell it. Once a product is no longer in demand, they just stop selling it, and they don’t eat the costs of manufacturing.

In addition, their “Mall Without Walls” website brokers millions of products through major stores, and distributors can earn money from those sales, too.

Finally, Marketamerica.com’s whole business model relies on moving products to consumers, not recruiting tons of new business partners. Actually, the company sells more than 70% of it’s products to customers, not distributors. This, in turn, makes Market America’s compensation plan among the most stable, profitable, and sustainable of any company out there.

While the US Government, and namely the Federal Trade Commission, have implemented a requirement that all direct sales companies – including MLM and Network Marketing – generate 70% of their sales from customers, most still do not do this.

Actually, most other direct sales (i.e., MLM and network marketing) companies don’t really distinguish between customers and distributors, so they don’t really have ANY customers. Now, if a company’s distributors are the majority of the people buying the product, and the company then has to turn around and PAY those same people a commission on the product they just bought, they are simply not generating enough revenue to continue paying people and remain in business.

Market America gains 70% of its revenue from customers who do not get paid for selling products; therefore anyone who is a distributor who earns a regular commission can rest assured in knowing their income will be stable for years to come.

These are three VERY important things to know about this company in the midst of all the misinformation out there. However, no matter what company you decide to align yourself with, you need the right marketing training to be really successful.
